Fred Ash
Fred began his career as an elementary school teacher. He earned a Bachelor of Education degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Memorial University, St. John’s, NL. He later became an editor of children’s magazines and earned a Certificate in Magazine Journalism from Ryerson University, Toronto. These experiences led him to be a writer of children’s literature.
He also served more than 20 years in pastoral ministry. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in curriculum design from Tyndale Seminary and has taught at the college level. This has inspired him to write inspiration material for men.
Originally from Newfoundland, Fred now lives in Calgary, Alberta, with his wife Shirley.
